Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team at PROMETEUS DIGITAL SOLUTIONS®. The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks such as recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide support for financial analysis and decision-making.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
